Why we keep a notebook

A home is used long before it is photographed. We start with the route to a window, a comfortable place to sit and the things that need to be close at hand. Those observations become the subjects of our journal.

What we publish

Our articles suggest modest experiments: rearranging existing furniture, comparing finishes and giving unused space a clear function. You can read everything without registering or buying anything.

Our visual studies are AI-generated illustrations created for the Baku Studio journal. They explore room arrangements and materials rather than document completed commissions.

The scope of this site

Baku Studio does not sell furniture, process payments or accept design commissions through this website. The journal currently includes no sponsored placements or affiliate shopping links.
